Obituary of Warren Raymond Schlamp

Warren Schlamp, a long time resident of Chetwynd, B.C. was taken from us suddenly on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Chetwynd, at the age of 31 years. Warren Raymond Schlamp was born on November 18, 1981 in Dawson Creek, but grew up in Chetwynd attending both elementary and high school there. For awhile it was Warren, his brother Blake and his mother Tracy. Then Rob showed up and pursued Tracy and her family. Eventually they would become one, and a few years later Bob was born giving Blake and Warren a little brother. Warren was an outdoor kind of guy, one of his greatest passions was fishing. Warren came by the passion of fishing naturally. "I'm on" could be heard over and over again when Warren was on the reel. The ones who seemed to influence him the most were Great Grandmother Nan and Grandpa Smith who were always the last off the water. Warren and his brother Blake would often be out on adventures, often inseparable, until Warren yelled on more time, "I'm on" - this time, he made a catch like no other before - his greatest catch of all, Sheilah. Warren fell in love with Sheilah Kuenzl and on July 8, 2006 they were married. Warren had met the true love of his life, someone he could love even more than fishing. On July 23, 2007 their first child was born, Linden Warren Schlamp. Warren was a proud dad, wanting to spend as much time with them as he could. Their family continued to grow and thrive, Reid Michael Schlamp was born on September 2, 2009. Another boy, another fishing buddy, another chapter in Warren's life. On July 23, 2011, a beautiful baby girl was added to their family. Avery Lynn Schlamp completed the family of five. Though Warren was passionate about fishing and hunting, he was most passionate about his family. He loved all of his family dearly. Warren was a man of few words and was a man of deep character. A man who passed away too early. Warren will be missed, and there are not enough words to describe all the memories that everyone has. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Pine Valley Exhibition Banquet Room. Pastor Ray Nadon officiated. Interment followed in the Tuscoola Mountain Cemetery. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 7 years; Sheilah, Sons; Linden, Reid, Daughter; Avery, mother and step father; Tracy and Robbie Major, father; Ernie, brothers; Blake, Bobby, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Warren to a trust fund at the Scotia Bank for Warren's family. Very Respectfully Reynars Funeral Home and Crematorium
