Apprentice Funeral Director  - November 5, 2021

Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium is currently seeking an Apprentice Funeral Director willing to enroll in the program to obtain a license, or a full-time licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer. This is a rewarding career opportunity, and the right candidate will be dedicated to making a difference and helping the families in our community. We are willing to train and support you as you grow in the funeral industry.

A successful candidate must possess: a minimum High School Diploma, post-secondary is considered an asset; a valid BC Driver’s License with clean driving record; a proficiency with computers and ability to learn new programs; a flexibility to work some evenings and weekends; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to handle sensitive situations with composure and maintain strict confidentiality.

Administrative Assistant - November 10, 2021

Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium is currently seeking a full-time, experienced administrative assistant. This position would be to help support funeral directors and front office personnel. Having great communication skills, working closely with others, and the ability to multitask would be great assets to this position.

Experience with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Quickbooks and the ability to learn new programs would be a benefit, however, training for programs will be available. The right candidate must have good organizational skills in an office setting.

Transfer Staff - November 10, 2021

Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium is currently seeking transfer staff. Individuals must be motivated, responsible, and a team player.

The successful candidate will be required, but not limited to: transfer of deceased persons, willing to work flexible hours, lift and carry various weights, hold a Class 5 Drivers licence and provide driver’s abstract, and follow COVID-19 safety protocols. A criminal record check is required at time of hiring. Wages will be negotiated, and training will be provided.
